But in El Paso there was not the extreme as in California, Nevada, and Florida that made the news. We are buying and selling houses in El Paso. The national news sent a rush of listings in our El Paso market so sellers need to stage and price to be attractive and competitive.. Buyers have a lot more choices and negotiation strategies that require that REALTOR's ® special skills. Interest rates are still downright delightful but one must have decent credit (not perfect just decent). So in a nutshell sellers that have their home ready and professionally promoted by a REALTOR® do fine. Buyers have a lot of choices if they have good credit and it sure helps to have a REALTOR® find and advise you of all the choices.
